The law was approved by 117 deputies. The opposition withdrew from the session in protest against the insistence of the ruling coalition on passing the law in an extraordinary session.

Tunisia’s Corruption Contagion: A Transition at Risk: Carnegie Endowment

Citer:
On January 15, 2011, only a day after the departure of former president Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali, the provisional government established the Commission of Inquiry into Misappropriation and Corruption under the leadership of Abdelfattah Amor. And since then, numerous other legal or official mechanisms have been established. Yet, nearly seven years later, corruption is more widespread today than it was under Ben Ali. Numerous factors contributing to this problem have been documented, but two warrant further exploration and attention.

Rapport fra International Crisis Group.

Igen, igen. Det er svært at ændre den politiske kultur. Ikke umuligt men svært da det kan tage op til 70 år at gennemføre, så vi får se om det lykkes.

Stemming Tunisia’s Authoritarian Drift

Citer:
What’s the issue? As the seventh anniversary of the 2011 Tunisian uprising approaches, the country is drifting back toward its old authoritarian reflexes. Much of this is due to the failure of nationalist and Islamist partners in Tunisia’s coalition government to implement the January 2014 constitution.

Det er jo her at Dansk Folkeparti burde råbe op om en slags Marshall-pla til Tunesien. Stop et indvandringsproblem før det bliver til virkelighed.
